As a fully approved Aviation Inspection Body, Safeguard Helidecks is authorised to inspect and assess superyacht helidecks on behalf of the major Flag States around the world. We’re entrusted to ensure compliance to the highest safety standards.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA)

 

The MCA is an executive agency of the United Kingdom working to prevent the loss of lives at sea and is responsible, through the Secretary of State for Transport to Parliament, for implementing British and international maritime law and safety policy.

 

We are authorised by the MCA to act as an Aviation Inspection Body (AIB) to provide certification for superyacht helicopter landing areas.

Cayman Islands Shipping Registry (CISR)

 

The Cayman Islands Shipping Registry (CISR) aims to provide client-focused maritime administration and related services to a select group of merchant ship owners/operators, pleasure vessel owners/managers, designers and builders, who value long-term relationships and operate and/or build a diversity of vessel types and sizes, worldwide.

Marshall Islands Shipping Registry (RMI) 
 

The RMI allows, through its national legislation and the RMI Yacht Code, the registration of private yachts, private yachts limited charter, commercial yachts, and passenger yachts. It also allows for RMI flagged private yachts to charter in French and Monégasque waters without the need for commercial registration by requesting a Temporary Certificate of Registry for Yacht Engaged in Trade. 

Transport Malta (TM) 

 

The primary role of the Ports and Yachting Directorate is to regulate, monitor and manage maritime activities that take place within ports and the internal and territorial waters of Malta. Other tasks falling within the Directorate’s remit are related to the efficient use of their ports and maritime facilities, which includes ensuring that port users and service providers comply with legislation and contractual obligations. 

Bahamas Maritime Authority 

 

The Bahamas Maritime Authority’s Inspections and Surveys Department is primarily responsible for ensuring that registered ships are in compliance with national legislation and all statutory requirements set out in the international Conventions and Codes to which The Bahamas is a party.
